Hindu Tailor Hacked To Death

Reports have it that at least two unknown assailants have hacked a Hindu tailor to death in central Bangladesh, amid a rise in attacks on religious minorities in the South Asian nation. Police officials said they were investigating whether Saturday’s killing in Tangail was linked to religious groups suspected of a series of minority killings, or was tied to a family dispute. Many of the killings have been blamed on or claimed by groups such as al-Qaeda or the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS) group.

Kenya House Collapse

A child has been pulled alive from the rubble after a building collapse in Nairobi killing at least seven people. The survivor was found 10 hours after the building collapsed on Friday night in the poor neighbourhood of Huruna as torrential rain lashed the Kenyan capital. Nairobi Deputy Governor, Jonathan Mueke, said an investigation would look into why the building collapsed. It is unknown how many people are still trapped in the debris. Reports say more than 120 people have been rescued and taken to hospital.

Bizos On South Africa

Johannesburg Advocate George Bizos has expressed concern about some of the things happening in South Africa, but he was still optimistic about the future.            Bizos said that he was aware that there were people who had been "left out" in the country and that he was worried about them.         The Advocate added that he got upset when people claimed that his friend and former president, Nelson Mandela, had let the country down.
